For Peak Performance In Sales

I am 20, graduated high school in 2008 and im currently in College finishing up my basics and working on a degree in Sales/Marketing . I’m looking to land a job in the Part time job in car-sales industry, but i hear its Hard work and its really a Full-time type Job, but i strong believe i can balance the job and my coursework, possible? I have some sales experience because i’ve worked in retail sales and Ive done credit sales in retail (getting customers to apply for charge cards), though I do have the people skills and professionalism to make a great salesman. Most dealerships I’ve applied for say they are willing to train. I had an interview at Car Max and some other local dealerships Today I went and dropped off my resume at one, then went to another and filled out an application there, then picked up an application from another dealership and will fill it out and drop it off tomorrow. So I’m hitting quite a few places which I think will help my chances of landing a job. The only concern I have is getting my foot in the door. So, what do I do to set myself apart from other applicants with sales experience? I hear the PAY IS Hourly Plus Commisson, So if im working 30hr wks and getting /hr plus 20% commissons i should be making alot of $$$$$$$ in the process. so is it all really this easy if i master the dealership trainings and dynamics of the car sales or is this impossible? PLZ ALL ADVICE AND COMMENTS ARE WELCOME. ESPECIALLY EXPERIENCED CAR SALESMAN!

What could a company do in case a former employee/contractor did not return goods belonging to the company such as phone, modem, sales tools, uniforms?

Noumerous letters and phone calls have not been answered, even registered letters.

Many thanks!

I basically track and forecast sales for a series of products for various retail companies both large and small. While I’m not new to the retail industry, I am new to being at the corporate level. For the first two years since graduating college (business major), I really never put my degree to use and I feel as if I lost the drive that I had for business. Since I obtained a sales analyst position (almost a year ago), I spent the time since trying to learn as much as possible while attempting to acclimate myself with the environment. I know that with the right motivation, I can dive right back into my groove and to do that I need the proper materials (i.e., books, programs, websites, discussion groups, etc). Anyone make any recommendations?

I listed a home 3 weeks ago. The agent has said his best sales tool is his website. It took him 1 week to get it on his site (only because I called him) and 3 weeks later he has still not corrected the mistakes on it. His "Hotsheet" which is supposed to have all his listings does not have my home on it. He placed an ad in the paper but it wasn’t distributed in the same part of town as the house. I have held Open Houses and not seen him around. I need to sell this house NOW and he hasn’t even shown the house to a prospective buyer! How long do I wait to fire him? What can I do to get his butt into gear?
I just wanted to add that the advertisement that was placed in the news paper went to the NW part of Phoenix and the home is in the SW part… the NW part of town is where majority of the retirees live.
Also, the open house was with his knowledge, in fact… it was in the ad he placed!
I think that due to the fact in Phoenix the real estate agents didn’t have to do anything 1 year ago to sell a house… they don’t know how to lift a finger and actually do some work to make their sales happen. I think they have gotten lazy… but thats just my opinion.

Christians say we are suposed to Follow the bible and not do things like drink, or smoke, or have sex out of marriage, but how is it possible when there is so much evil in the world… the media uses sex as a sales tool… internet makes it easy to get to, why try to be righteous when there is so much evil, in the world?

I only want to view video and audio that lasts five minutes as a sales tool, to demonstrate how something works. Something real inexpensive with only the ability to view what I pull from my PC, Do I need to buy software? Do I buy a player that accepts SD card from PC or one that I can download directly to with a USB.
